Movies, Love, and Revolution
I try to write plays that show the power of everyday people to overcome their mundane circumstances to become their true selves. I hope that they show some resiliency of the human spirit, while also showing how amazing life can be. Each play also features at least one African-American character who is integral to the plot and who plays a unique and nontraditional role. Mostly, I hope that the plays are entertaining, inspiring, and maybe they make people think and even smile.
