About Desert Highway Radio

Our selection on Desert Highway Radio includes classic roots artists from eras past along with the best contemporary independent artists. When we started Desert Highway Radio, our goal was to make some impact on the roots music scene. This week's Roots Music Report Radio Airplay charts shows that we're starting to do just that! Nearly a dozen Desert Highway artists that we've been playing all summer have cracked those charts in four categories (Americana Country, Folk, Blues, and Roots Rock).

Classic Roots Artists You'll hear on Desert Highway Radio

Some Highlights from our first year

  1. We've had listeners from 50 nations!
  2. We've had listeners from all 50 states
  3. We're in the top 20 stations in our genre on Live 365.com (out of several hundred stations!)
  4. We've begun to play our small and humble part in the Independent music revolution!
